Attribution & takedown

Amend10 does not host original works. Each primary-source entry presents a verified excerpt for study, alongside provenance and a link back to the original. We aim to model exemplary attribution.

How we handle rights

Public domain
Shown in full, marked with the Creative Commons public-domain mark in our machine-readable metadata.
Copyrighted excerpt
Only a brief excerpt is shown, under fair use, with credit to the original rights holder and a prominent link to the full work. We never reproduce a third party's copyrighted work in full.
Creative Commons
Shown per the specific license, credited to the original author.

Takedown requests

If you are a rights holder and believe an entry exceeds fair use or misattributes your work, contact us and we will review it promptly. Use the submit form and describe the entry (including its reference number) and your concern. Verified requests are actioned quickly.

Citing Amend10

Each entry page includes a suggested citation and a link to the original source. Please cite the original work; Amend10 is a finding aid, not the publisher of the primary sources.
